Welcome

Tommy Jones and Lenzie Kinyon prepare to install packages of bees
Welcome to the website of the Rockingham County Beekeepers Association.

We are a friendly, thriving association of over 80 beekeepers living in Rockingham County, North Carolina.

Our interests are:

  • Learning about bees and beekeeping.
  • Helping others in our hobby.
  • Producing good quality honey and beeswax.
We invite you to explore our website and get to know us!  Better yet, attend one of our monthly meetings - usually the first Thursday in each month, with the exceptions of April (when we schedule a field day) and July (when we attend the NCSBA Summer Meeting). Meetings are usually held at 7 p.m. at the Rockingham County Cooperative Extension Service offices at 525 NC Highway 65, Reidsville, NC (former Wentworth School annex, actually located in Wentworth).  If you have questions or comments, please click on the "Officers" link in the left sidebar, and call or e-mail one of our officers. Happy beekeeping!

Congratulations to our Beginning Beekeeping Class of 2013!
